Business Analysis

The NPDC Business Analysis program offers an analysis of the market potential of a new or current product to assess where, when, how and if the product should be offered to the public. Manufacturers often develop high-potential concepts that fail to meet customer needs in basic ways. Business analysis and marketing research stand as a test to eliminate failure before a product is ever produced.

Business analysis for a particular product requires company history and resources including a projected income statement, measurable goals and objectives, and an account list that includes an analysis of the most valuable customers.
