NPDC Director





Robert Taylor, Ph.D. has an extensive background in electrical and mechanical engineering design, research and development of complex systems, project and grant management and oversight of staff and students. Dr. Taylor utilizes his knowledge and background to direct staff and program partners in their investigations and development of innovative products and processes. He engages manufacturers and program partners to identify, develop and deliver results that benefit the overall economic development of Oklahoma.


Senior Design Engineer





Jennifer Vinyard is the in-house design expert for CAD programs and finite element analysis. She has assisted many clients with the development of their products. Jennifer has developed a strong rapport with New Product Development Center clients and also assists interns with developing product designs.

Terri Ventress is the New Product Development Center's chemical engineer. She works closely with NPDC client's who produce products that deal with chemical compounds. Terri also works closely with NPDC interns to complete projects.

Heather Lewis oversees a large number of engineering interns working for the New Product Development Center and guides them through the product development process. Heather also contributes much of her time to the grant writing process to secure funds for the NPDC.


Program Manager





Jessica Stewart directs the Inventor's Assistance Service, coordinates proposal development processes, and manages NPDC's fisical and administrative operations.


Administrative Support Specialist II





Tammy Ratcliff has been with the NPDC/IAS since May 2015.  She performs administrative tasks including purchasing, travel, payroll processing, safety training and compliance and other fiscal tasks as appropriate.  She coordinates client meetings and is often the first point of contact for current and potential clients.  She processes and assigns IAS applications and assists in supervising the IAS interns.  Tammy also helps with grant writing and account management.


Design Engineer



Tyler Worden is at the Tulsa New Product Development Center located on the OSU-Tulsa campus within the Helmerich Research Center. He has a Masters in Mechanical Engineering and a background in design and manufacturing in the oil and gas industry. Tyler oversees operations of the Tulsa NPDC and administers the Inventor's Assistance Service within the Tulsa and eastern Oklahoma region.

Business Development Specialist


Ryan Redding brings his years of experience as an organizational consultant to the NPDC, and includes specialization in strategic planning and marketing. As an adviser for Oklahoma's Small Business Development Center, Ryan works to impact to the Oklahoma economy by consulting new or established businesses, and within the Center for Technology Commercialization, to bring new products to market.
