NPDC Director


Robert Taylor, Ph.D., P.E., has an extensive background in electrical and mechanical engineering design, research and development of complex systems, project and grant management and oversight of staff and students. Dr. Taylor utilizes his knowledge and background to direct staff and program partners in their investigations and development of innovative products and processes. He engages manufacturers and program partners to identify, develop and deliver results that benefit the overall economic development of Oklahoma.

Senior Design Engineer - Mechanical Engineering


Jennifer is the in-house design expert for CAD programs and finite element analysis. She has assisted many clients with the development of their products. Jennifer has developed a strong rapport with New Product Development Center clients and also assists interns with developing product designs.

Senior Design Engineer - Chemical Engineering


Terri is the New Product Development Center's chemical engineer. She works closely with NPDC client's who produce products that deal with chemical compounds. Terri also works closely with NPDC interns to complete projects.

Program Manager


Jessica directs the Inventor's Assistance Service, coordinates proposal development processes, and manages NPDC's fiscal and administrative operations.

Design Engineer


Tyler is at the Tulsa New Product Development Center located on the OSU-Tulsa campus within the Helmerich Research Center. He has a Masters in Mechanical Engineering and a background in design and manufacturing in the oil and gas industry. Tyler oversees operations of the Tulsa NPDC and administers the Inventor's Assistance Service within the Tulsa and eastern Oklahoma region. 

Design Engineer


Sean is at the Tulsa New Product Development Center. He has a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and is responsible for grant- and industry-funded design and analysis projects. 

Business Development Specialist


Ryan brings his years of experience as an organizational consultant to the NPDC, and includes specialization in strategic planning and marketing. As an adviser for Oklahoma's Small Business Development Center, Ryan works to impact to the Oklahoma economy by consulting new or established businesses, and within the Center for Technology Commercialization, to bring new products to market.
